In March, AILA joined over 300 immigration, civil rights, and community groups in filing an amicus brief urging the U.S. Supreme Court to lift the injunction blocking the implementation of Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA) and expanded Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals DACA programs. AILA issued a press release upon filing the brief. Oral arguments in the case are scheduled for April 18, 2016, and a decision is expected in late June. See AILA's Texas v.
