On 5/8/13 at 2:30 pm (ET) the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation committee will hold a hearing titled “The Role of Immigrants in America’s Innovation Economy.” The hearing will examine current U.S. immigration policies and their impact on economic growth. Immigration reforms proposed by a bipartisan group of Senators would have implications for the U.S. technology sector and universities offering science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) degrees.
