  • DOS Announces Military Coup in Thailand- Countrywide Curfew 10PM to 5AM (5/22/2014)
    DOS 05/22/14 announcement alerting U.S. citizens of a military coup in Thailand. Authorities announced a countrywide curfew from 10PM- 5AM. Members should check the embassy's website frequently for information about possible disruptions to normal U.S. consular services in Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

  • U.S. Embassies and Consulates Unable to Accept Credit Card Payments (4/15/2014)
    USCIS alert that U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world are unable to accept credit card payments at this time. As DOS processes USCIS petition fees for overseas USCIS Field Offices, payment by credit card will not be available until DOS resumes that service. Fees can be paid locally.
