District Court Judge Grants Emergency Stay in Lawsuit Challenging Executive Order Targeting Muslims and Refugees

The court held there was imminent danger of substantial/irreparable injury, and enjoined respondents from removing people with approved refugee applications, valid visas, and others from countries specified in the order who are legally allowed to enter the U.S. (Darweesh v. Trump, 1/28/17)
