October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) and to raise awareness of the importance of having good cybersecurity in place, AILA will offer several new resources for members throughout the month. Additionally, AILA will be doing its own part to increase the security of your information by implementing new password security requirements on AILA's websites.

At 8:00 am (ET) on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, all AILA users will be logged out of their AILA account and will need to login again and pick a new password. It’s a very simple process – on Tuesday, October 22, 2019, just follow these steps:
As part of this process, all AILA websites will be offline the morning of October 22, 2019, from 6:00–7:00 am (ET) while the new security code is deployed.

NCSAM is a joint government and industry effort to raise awareness about the importance of cybersecurity at home and the workplace. The theme for 2019 is: Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT. The theme stresses the role each individual plays in their own cybersecurity.
