Washington, DC (April 25, 2019) - Legal publisher Fastcase and partner American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) today debuted the first edition of the biannual AILA Law Journal. This spring edition includes seven law review articles covering timely topics about the rapidly changing landscape of immigration by some of the country's leading experts, including pieces on the renunciation of U.S. citizenship, Central American asylum seekers, extraordinary ability adjudications, travel ban waivers, and more.

The AILA Law Journal, published under Fastcase's publishing arm Full Court Press, is now available for free to all AILA members via AILA's website as a member benefit. AILALink subscribers can also access the AILA Law Journal on the AILALink database. For non-AILA members, individual issues in print or digital download formats are available for $60 on the online Fastcase Bookstore. Alternatively, non-AILA members can purchase a combined print/digital subscription for $99 a year, which includes up to three copies of each issue and unlimited access to the journal on Fastcase's online legal research system. Organizations of over 10 users may purchase a one-year combination subscription for $299 which includes up to five copies of each issue of the print AILA Law Journal, plus unlimited access to all current and future issues on Fastcase's online legal research system.

"We are proud to bring this important and pertinent expert content to AILA members and the wider legal community as the result of a collaborative effort with our long-term friends and partners at AILA," said Full Court Press Publisher Morgan Morrissette Wright. "The editors and contributors working on the journal have assembled a deeply interesting collection of insights about the rapidly changing legal issues facing immigration attorneys and their clients today."

"Our nearly 16,000 members are part of a daily effort to advance and elevate immigration law as they work on the cases of the individuals, families, organizations, and businesses they serve," said Benjamin Johnson, AILA Executive Director. "The journal is the latest in an unparalleled set of resources we offer our members so they can not only deeply understand immigration law and policy, but be on the cutting edge of this complex, evolving, and often unforgiving area of law. AILA is excited to launch this new journal with Fastcase, one of our longstanding and valued partners, with the insightful Professor Shoba Sivaprasad Wadhia serving as Editor-in-Chief."

"I am honored to serve as the founding Editor-in-Chief of the AILA Law Journal and look forward to working with AILA, Fastcase, and our esteemed editorial board on this new resource," said Wadhia. "The editorial board of the AILA Law Journal is committed to helping develop and publish accurate, concise, and insightful articles about immigration law and policy from a diverse and authoritative line-up of experts able to make these complicated issues accessible."
