DHS OIG Released Testimony from Acting Inspector General Before Appropriations Committee

DHS OIG issued the testimony from Acting Inspector General John V. Kelly before the Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Homeland Security, on recent oversight efforts.

His testimony focused on (1) family separation, (2) unannounced inspections of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities, (3) the Department's efforts to hire and train border patrol agents and immigration officers, and (4) oversight of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster relief work.
