Colorado CLE Rules

AILA Programs

 

AILA's Provider Status: AILA applies after each program individually. Programs are typically approved.
Approved Programs: In-Person Conferences
Live Webcasts of In-Person Conferences
Live Audio and Web Seminars
OnDemand Programs
Credit Available: View your state's conference information page for the amount and type of credit available for in-person conferences and live webcasts of in-person conferences. Audio/web seminars are all 90 minutes in length and are eligible for 1.5 general credits, unless otherwise noted. OnDemand programs receive the same amount of credit as the live version of the program.
Credit Restrictions: OnDemand programs qualify for home study credit. Credit is only available for in-person conference OnDemand from January 1, 2011 and for seminar OnDemand from June 1, 2009.
AILA's Reporting Requirements: AILA does not report attendance.
Attendee Compliance for CLE: Each attendee must submit and affirm the sessions they attended using webCLE. A four-digit attendance verification code is given during each session and must also be submitted. Attorneys must complete their webCLE submission within one week of the event to receive a certificate of attendance and to have their attendance reported.

 

 

 

MCLE Requirements

 

 

 

General Credit Requirements 45 total credit hours per compliance period.
Specialized Credit Requirements: 7 ethics credits per compliance period
Compliance Period Length: 3 years
Compliance Deadline: December 31
Reporting Deadline: January 31
Credit Calculation: 50 minutes per credit hour, no credit for Q&A

Attorney Reporting Requirements: Attorneys must submit certificate of attendance for each event held outside Colorado. Attorneys must submit affidavit by January 31 of year following compliance period.
