Florida CLE Rules

AILA Programs

 

AILA's Provider Status:	AILA applies for each in-person conference individually. Attorneys must apply individually for seminars and OnDemand programs.
Approved Programs:	In-Person Conferences Live Webcasts of In-Person Conferences Live Audio and Web Seminars OnDemand Programs
Credit Available:	View your state's conference information page for the amount and type of credit available for in-person conferences and live webcasts of in-person conferences. Audio/web seminars are all 90 minutes in length and are eligible for 1.8 general credits, unless otherwise noted. OnDemand programs receive the same amount of credit as the live version of the program.
AILA's Reporting Requirements:	AILA does not report attendance.
Attendee Compliance for CLE:	Each attendee must submit and affirm the sessions they attended using webCLE. A four-digit attendance verification code is given during each session and must also be submitted. Attorneys must complete their webCLE submission within one week of the event to receive a certificate of attendance and to have their attendance reported.

 

 

 

MCLE Requirements

 

 

 

General Credit Requirements	30 total credit hours per compliance period.
Specialized Credit Requirements:	5 credits of ethics, professionalism, substance abuse, or mental illness awareness per compliance period
Compliance Period Length:	3 years
Compliance Deadline:	Each Florida Bar member is assigned to a 3-year reporting cycle.
Reporting Deadline:	The last date of the assigned reporting cycle. Individual reporting deadlines may be found on the mailing label of the member's Florida Bar News.
Credit Calculation:	50 minutes per credit hour (AILA's CLE Calculator)
Attorney Reporting Requirements:	Three months prior to the end of the reporting cycle, the member will receive a Reporting Affidavit if the member lacks required hours. Must update the form with additional hours completed and return the form to the Florida Bar by the reporting deadline.
