Credit Available: | View your state's conference status sheet for the amount and type of credit available for in-person conferences. |
Credit Restrictions: | Attorneys can earn no more than 8 credits in one day. Kansas does not approve live webcasts, seminars, or OnDemand programs for credit. |
AILA's Reporting Requirements: | AILA does not report attendance, but provides the Kansas affidavit. |
Attendee Compliance for CLE: | Each attendee must submit and affirm the sessions they attended using webCLE. A four-digit attendance verification code is given during each session and must also be submitted. Attorneys must complete their webCLE submission within one week of the event to receive a certificate of attendance and to have their attendance reported. |
MCLE Requirements
General Credit Requirements | 12 total credit hours per compliance period. |
Specialized Credit Requirements: | 2 credits of professional responsibility (includes ethics, professionalism and malpractice prevention) per compliance period. |
Compliance Period Length: | 1 year |
Compliance Deadline: | June 30 |
Reporting Deadline: | June 30 |
Credit Calculation: | >50 minutes per credit hour (AILA's CLE Calculator) |
Attorney Reporting Requirements: | Attorneys must report attendance within 30 days of program. All credits must be reported by June 30. An annual report of credits is sent to attorneys after the close of the compliance period. If changes are necessary, instructions are provided on the form. |
