AILA Conference Health and Safety Information

12/7/23 AILA Doc. No. 23120706.

COVID Protocols

AILA no longer requires proof of vaccination status or other COVID prevention measures to attend the AILA in-person conferences, meetings, or events (AILA Events). We follow the current guidelines recommended by the CDC for each Event. Those guidelines may be reviewed at on the CDC website, and are subject to change. By attending an AILA Event, each attendee agrees to comply with any health-related rules that AILA may put into place.
Masks are not required at AILA Events. However, attendees may wear masks, or take other steps to protect themselves and others, at their discretion. AILA requires that attendees respect the choices of others in this regard.

AILA requests that persons experiencing COVID-like symptoms, or symptoms related to any other potentially contagious illness, not attend an AILA Event to prevent possible spread.

Health and Safety Terms and Conditions

By attending an AILA Event, you agree to the following Health and Safety Terms and Conditions:

  1. Under no circumstances shall AILA, its officers, directors, employees, and/or contractors, be liable to you (or anyone claiming through you) for any injury, damages, claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, or other loss of any kind (including death), arising in any manner from COVID-19, and or any other potentially contagious illness, or otherwise arising in any way from your travel to/from, attendance at, or participation in, the AILA Event.
  2. AILA has no responsibility for any injury, damages, claims, liabilities, costs, expenses, or other loss of any kind (including death) arising in any manner from an event organized by an AILA chapter, affiliate, or other person or entity occurring prior to, during, or after the AILA Event. You assume all risks from attendance at such events.
