CBP Issues Statement on Border Search of Electronic Devices
CBP issued a statement on border searches of electronic devices, noting that in FY2019, it conducted 40,913 electronic device searches, representing .01 percent of arriving international travelers. CBP also provided a month-to-month comparison of electronic device searches from FY2017 to FY2019.
