DHS Acting Secretary Chad Wolf Resigns

Chad Wolf announced that, effective 11:59 pm (ET), January 11, 2021, he will be stepping down as DHS Acting Secretary. Wolf cited ongoing court rulings regarding the validity of his authority as Acting Secretary as a reason for stepping down. Peter Gaynor will be the new DHS Acting Secretary.
