DOJ Backgrounder on EOIR Strategic Caseload Reduction Plan

DOJ provides a backgrounder on EOIR’s strategic caseload reduction plan. To accomplish this goal, EOIR must increase adjudicatory capacity, increase immigration judge productivity, and manage incoming case receipts from DHS. EOIR is implementing five initiatives to address these goals.
