DOS Provides Opportunity for Academic Training Extensions for J-1 College and University Students in STEM Fields

Per new DOS guidance, undergraduate and pre-doctoral degree-seeking J-1 college and university students who are pursuing or have recently completed STEM-related studies can apply for an academic training extension of up to 36 months. The extension applies to 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.
