EOIR Releases ECAS Handbooks and Manuals
Hoppock Law Firm obtained via FOIA the handbooks and manuals that identify how the EOIR Courts & Appeals System (ECAS) initiative and database work from January 1, 2017, to present. Per EOIR, the goal of the ECAS initiative "is to phase out paper filing and processing, and to retain all records and case-related documents in electronic format." Special thanks to Matthew Hoppock.
