USCIS Proposed Rule Removing the 30-Day Processing Provision for Asylum EADs
USCIS proposed rule removing the 30-day processing provision for initial employment authorization applications for those with pending asylum applications. The proposed rule also removes the requirement that pending asylum applicants file for Employment Authorization Document (EAD) renewal at least 90 days before the EAD's scheduled expiration. Comments will be accepted until 11/8/19. (84 FR 47148, 9/9/19)
