USCIS Policy Manual Technical Update on Medical Codes for Purposes of Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions

USCIS updated its Policy Manual to clarify that, for purposes of Form N-648, Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions, USCIS accepts the relevant medical codes recognized by the Department of Health and Human Services. This includes codes found in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and the International Classification of Diseases.
