USCIS Releases Updated Procedures for Asylum Applications Filed by UACs
Reuters obtained a memo with updated procedures for asylum applications filed by unaccompanied alien children (UACs), modifying 5/28/13 guidance. This guidance is effective 30 calendar days after 5/31/19 and applies to any USCIS decision issued on or after the effective date.
