Delay of Effective Date of Final Rule on Parole for Start-Up Entrepreneurs
DHS Federal Register document delaying the effective date of the final rule on parole for start-up entrepreneurs, published at 82 FR 5238 on 1/17/17, until 3/14/18. Comments due by 8/10/17. The original effective date of the rule was 7/17/17. DHS will also issue a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking soliciting comments on a proposal to rescind the rule pursuant to Executive Order 13767. Note: DHS is not delaying the effective date with respect to one minor provision of the rule adding the Form FS-240, DOS Consular Report of Birth Abroad, to the list of acceptable documents for Form I-9 verification.
