AG Issues Memorandum on FOIA Guidelines

The Attorney General issued a memo to heads of executive departments and agencies with guidelines for the fair and effective administration of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The memo includes guidelines for removing barriers to access and reducing FOIA request backlogs, among other things.
