AILA Presents Victor Nieblas Pradis with the 2019 Susan D. Quarles AILA Service Excellence Award

WASHINGTON, DC - The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) will recognize Victor Nieblas Pradis, of City of Industry, CA, with the 2019 Susan D. Quarles AILA Service Excellence Award. The award is named in recognition of Quarles' outstanding service, over a period of years, in advancing the mission, development, and value of AILA for its members and the public it serves. Victor will receive the award this week during AILA's Annual Conference in Orlando, FL.
Victor is a Past President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Victor is the first Mexican-American to serve in this capacity in AILA's more than 70-year history. He also served on the AILA Board of Governors for eight years and is a past Chairperson of the AILA, Southern California Chapter. In total, he has served AILA for over 22 years in various positions. He has always sought to provide opportunities for all members and uphold AILA's mission statement.
Victor has served as the Chairperson for the Immigration Law Section for the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). He is also a past Trustee for the Mexican American Bar Association (MABA), and past chairperson of the MABA Immigration Subcommittee.
Victor has presented numerous lectures and programs across the country on immigration topics for AILA, MABA, Los Angeles Country Bar Association, and the California State Bar.
Victor hosted a weekly Spanish Television Program named "Inmigracion 411" discussing Immigration Law on cable channel HITN. Mr. Nieblas was also a co-host of a weekly Spanish Radio Broadcast named "La Ley de Inmigracion" for 12 years. Currently, Victor is a television legal commentator for several local and national news broadcasts. Mr. Victor is regularly quoted in major print media across the country. He is listed with The Best Lawyers in America and Southern California for Immigration and Nationality Law.
