Attorney General States IJs May Only Grant Continuances “For Good Cause Shown”
The Attorney General (AG) found that an immigration judge may only grant a continuance of removal proceedings “for good cause shown” and outlined the good-cause standard. Further, the AG vacated the Board’s orders declining to entertain these appeals and remanded for further proceedings consistent with this opinion..
