CBP Guidance to Carrier Liaison Program on Presidential Proclamation Suspending Entry of Certain Additional Persons Who Pose a Risk of Transmitting CO
On March 13, 2020, CBP provided guidance to its Carrier Liaison Program on the presidential proclamation suspending entry into the United States as immigrants or nonimmigrants of all foreign nationals, with certain exceptions, who were present in the Schengen Area during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States, as well as information on DHS's arrival restrictions outlining the process for American citizens, LPRs, and immediate family members returning home after recently visiting certain European countries, China, and Iran, including a list of designated airports for flights carrying these individuals. Guidance is effective on March 13, 2020, at 11:59 pm (ET).
