CBP Releases Memo on e-Passport Requirement for Visa Waiver Program Travelers
CBP released a redacted memo noting that under the Visa Waiver Program Improvement and Terrorist Travel Prevention Act of 2015, all VWP travelers will be required to have an e-Passport by April 1, 2016. Passengers without e-Passports would be ineligible to travel under VWP on or after that date.
