CBP Releases Memo on Expiration of Public Law 111-230 H-1B, L-1 Additional Fees

CBP released a redacted memo noting that CBP officers processing first time L-1 nonimmigrant packets should stop collecting the additional filing fee, fraud prevention and detection fee of $2,250 that was required under PL 111-230 section 402, which, as amended, expired on September 30, 2015.
