DHS IG Reviews GAO’s Decision on Legality of Service of Wolf and Cuccinelli
9/15/20
AILA Doc. No. 20091504.
DHS IG Joseph V. Cuffari sent a letter to Chairman Thompson (House Committee on Homeland Security) and Chairwoman Maloney (House Committee on Oversight and Reform) regarding GAO’s decision on the legality of service of DHS’s Chad Wolf and Kenneth Cuccinelli. The IG found troubling aspects to GAO’s decision, but declined to take further action noting that “it would be pointless for DHS OIG to add its voice to what has become a bitter inter-branch disagreement.”
