DOJ Announces Record Arrests for Felony Illegal Re-entry and Misdemeanor Illegal Entry

DOJ announced that during FY2018, there was a 38% increase over FY2017 of defendants charged with felony illegal re-entry (23,400) and a 86% increase over FY2017 of defendants charged with misdemeanor illegal entry (68,400).
