DOS final rule amending the regulations to update classification symbols and descriptions for certain immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. The changes in the classification descriptions will have no impact on who may qualify for such a visa. The rule is effective 9/12/23. (88 FR 45068, 7/14/23)
