E-Verify Issues Revised Guidance on DED for Certain Hong Kong Residents

E- Verify issued revised guidance stating that on 1/15/25, President Biden issued a memo directing the Secretary of DHS to extend Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for certain Hong Kong residents, and to provide for continued work authorization through 2/5/27. However, at this time, DED-related Employment Authorization Documents (EADs) provided to certain Hong Kong residents have not been extended.
