USCIS Updates Guidance for Applicants for Change of Status to F-1 Student

USCIS updated its policy guidance to eliminate the need for individuals who have applied for a change of status (COS) to F-1 student to apply to change or extend nonimmigrant status while their initial F-1 COS application is pending. Guidance is effective 7/20/21 and comments are due by 8/20/21.
