ICE Announces Expansion of Detention Capacity with Delaney Hall Facility in New Jersey

ICE announced the imminent reopening of the Delaney Hall Facility in Newark, New Jersey, after reaching an agreement with the facility’s owner to reestablish the federal immigration processing and detention center at the 1,000-bed facility. This detention center is the first to open under the new Trump administration.
