Missouri Poultry Processing Plant Pays $450,000 Fine for Hiring Undocumented Workers

A May 2007 enforcement by ICE agents found 136 undocumented workers at George's Processing Plant in Springfield, MO. 28 workers were criminally prosecuted for immigration violations. Two of the company's hiring personnel were convicted of harboring illegal aliens.
