USCIS Notice of Partial Vacatur of 2024 Temporary Protected Status Decision for Haiti

USCIS notice stating that DHS Secretary Noem has decided to partially vacate the 6/4/24 decision of former DHS Secretary Mayorkas regarding the extension of the designation of Haiti for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and the new designation of Haiti for TPS. The designation period will be reduced from 18 months to 12 months. In addition, the Haiti TPS extension and new designation will now expire on 8/3/25 instead of 2/3/26, and the first-time registration for new applicants will also remain in effect until 8/3/25 instead of 2/3/26.
