USCIS Policy Alert on Registration of Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) Status

The USCIS Policy Manual was updated with guidance on LPR status registration, including presumption of lawful admission, foreign nationals born in the U.S. to accredited diplomats, and foreign nationals who entered the U.S. prior to 1/1/72. Guidance is effective 12/21/16. Comments are due by 1/6/17.
