USCIS Releases New Webpage for Lockbox Filing Location Updates

USCIS announced that its website will now feature a Lockbox Filing Location Updates page, where customers can track when lockbox form filing locations are updated. Updates will also be emailed and announced on social media.

On Aug. 1, we added Elgin, Illinois as a filing location for certain filers filing forms:
- I-130, Petition for Alien Relative;
- I-131, Application for Travel Document;
- I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant;
- I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status;
- I-765, Application for Employment Authorization;
- I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition; and
- I-864, Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the INA
On July 12, we added a filing location for petitioners filing Form I-526E, Immigrant Petition by Regional Center Investor.
On July 11, we updated the filing location for those filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, based on category (c)(11), paroled in the public interest.
On June 7, we added filing locations for applicants filing Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status, under the designation for Cameroon.
On June 6, we added Elgin, Illinois as a filing location for certain forms I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant; I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status; I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, and I-131, Application for Travel Document.
On May 20, we added filing locations for applicants filing Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status, under the designation for Afghanistan.
On May 15, we added the filing locations for applicants filing Form I-956, Application for Regional Center Designation, and Form I-956H, Bona Fides of Persons Involved with Regional Center Program, to request designation as a regional center.
On May 9, we added the filing locations for certain applicants filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, under eligibility category (c)(14).
On May 2, we updated the filing locations for applicants filing Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status, under the designation for Ukraine.
On April 19, we changed the filing location for those filing Form I-290B, Notice of Appeal or Motion, based on a decision made by the Humanitarian Affairs Branch.
On Apr. 19, we added filing locations for applicants filing Form I-821, Application for Temporary Protected Status, under the designation for Ukraine.
On April 15, we added a filing location for those filing Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur, with Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (this is called “concurrent filing”).
On Apr. 15, we added Elgin, Illinois, as a filing location for certain requestors filing Form N-336, Request for a Hearing on a Decision in Naturalization Proceedings (Under Section 336 of the INA).
On Apr. 15, we added Elgin, Illinois, as a filing location for certain applicants filing Form N-600, Application for Certificate of Citizenship.
