USCIS to Allow Applicants to File for SSN or Replacement Card as Part of Adjustment of Status Application Process

USCIS announced that applicants filing for lawful permanent resident status are able to apply for a Social Security number (SSN) or replacement card as part of the adjustment of status application process without having to apply at a Social Security office.
