To be the best advocate for your clients, you must also be an expert advocate for yourself. Associates often walk into law firm situations they never imagined in law school. They need impartial advice and compassion to protect their health and well-being. This roundtable will help associates make decisions that protect their reputation, career, and bar license. This discussion will raise common dilemmas faced by associates and give real, practical solutions. Associates who attend will come away feeling relieved they are not alone and energized to advocate for themselves and their clients. They will also get new resources to address future tough situations.
This roundtable is presented by AILA's Lawyer Well Being Committee and the New Member's Division.
This roundtable is available only to AILA members and not CLE eligible. AILA University Video Roundtables are free learning opportunities for AILA members provided via a weekly schedule of live video programming for members to come together from across the country and world to discuss hot topics and network with colleagues in the field. Video Roundtables are part of AILA University programming and each session is hosted by faculty selected for their expertise.
