They will discuss approaches to “nontraditional” families, including challenging our own and USCIS’s preconceptions about relationships. They also will examine how our socioeconomic biases lead to frustrations over client “noncompliance” with evidence gathering, and they will identify best practices in dealing with pronouns and gender labels.
