USCIS Announces Changes to Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-485 and Form I-539

USCIS announced revisions to the Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and Form I-539, Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status for the U-based nonimmigrant classification. USCIS will allow a 30-day grace period in which petitioners may file either form at the previously designated service centers. The grace period will end on April 11, 2020. After that date, USCIS may reject petitions sent to the incorrect service center.
