This roundtable will focus on the complex legal and ethical issues arising from representing clients applying for EB-5 immigrant classification through a designated Regional Center. Discussion topics will include:

  • Tips from experts about how to effectively evaluate Regional Center projects for your clients.
  • Limitations in engagement letters.
  • Sustainment issues and Regional Center projects.

AILA's EB-5 Committee identifies issues and trends related to the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program and acts proactively to raise these concerns to USCIS when possible through available channels. The committee also reviews and comments on changes to the USCIS Policy Manual, EB-5 forms, and regulations. The committee prepares practice resources and hosts roundtables for the AILA membership addressing the latest developments in the EB-5 program.
