This August 16 roundtable is intended only for AILA members and will include confidential information that has not been released publicly. Accordingly, we ask those who participate to agree not to share the information with non-AILA members and especially not to post it on social media or share it with reporters.
Join AILA experts to discuss the August 19, 2024 implementation of the President’s announcement to use parole in place to promote family unity. This roundtable will review the application process, eligibility requirements, and evidentiary standards, as well as to discuss best practices. We will also use this as an opportunity to identify questions or concerns you may have about implementation to inform AILA’s administrative advocacy regarding the implementation of parole in place.
For more information and updates on this policy, AILA members should visit the AILA Executive Actions to Promote Family Unity and Help Dreamers Featured Issue page.
AILA Video Roundtables are free interactive learning opportunities hosted by faculty selected for their expertise, with an emphasis on discussion and Q&A. This roundtable is available only to AILA members and is not CLE eligible. The free recording will be available 7-10 business days following the live event.
