Enjoy access to free seminar recordings (from October 2020–present) as an AILA Member. AILA encourages live attendance for those wishing to ask the speaker questions. CLE credit is included with purchase for live participants.

Recordings will be available approximately two weeks after the live event date. AILA members can access these seminars, with no CLE credit, for free. Recordings are CLE eligible in most jurisdictions and an administration fee is required to obtain CLE credit.

Eligible participants can receive up to 1.8 CLE credit hours. AILA will administer CLE credit only to individuals who register and log into the web seminar. AILA cannot verify your attendance and participation in this program unless you register directly for the web seminar and use your name to log in to participate in the program. Therefore, persons who log in or listen in on the web seminar as part of a group will not be able to obtain CLE credit.

AILA has filed for CLE and specialized credit in all jurisdictions with mandatory CLE requirements. For details about specific approvals, contact us at cle@aila.org.

Lieselot Whitbeck (DL), Stuart, FL

Lieselot Whitbeck Is a Senior Attorney with Hunton Andrews Kurth where she advises corporate and individual clients on U.S. and non-U.S. immigration issues. She began her career as USCIS immigration officer from 2008 to 2010 at the Boston Field Office where she adjudicated naturalization and adjustment of status cases, took responsibility for Diversity Visa adjustments, and assisted Haitians in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake. She received her BA in Immigration Studies and Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis and her JD from the University of Virginia.

Matt Mauntel-Medici, AILA DOS Liaison Committee, Johnston, IA

Matt Mauntel-Medici is an attorney with Quarles & Brady LLP and a member of the AILA Department of State Liaison Committee. He previously served as a consular officer in Brazil and Ireland where he led the adjudication of immigrant and non-immigrant visas. His practice focuses on employment-based immigration cases of all kinds with an emphasis on consular processing. He works with clients across many fields, including medicine, finance, education, shipping, and insurance. He is a graduate of Boston College Law School.

Sharvari “Shev” Dalal-Dheini, AILA Senior Director of Government Relations, Washington, D.C.

Sharvari (Shev) Dalal-Dheini is a Senior Director of Government Relations for AILA., where she directs the association’s administrative and congressional advocacy efforts with a focus on employment-based immigration, immigration benefits, and the legal immigration system. She previously worked for USCIS where she coordinated legal review of various policy and regulatory initiatives and providing expert advice on employment-based immigration matters. She received her JD/MA from American University and her B.A. from University of Richmond.
